1.Before you begin
ThermalOne is a simulation software programme that utilises dedicated functions built on top of Rhinoceros and Grasshopper to create the various settings and data required for architectural modelling and calculations. Therefore, an environment with Rhinoceros and Grasshopper installed is required.
System Requirements
- Windows 11 Pro/Home 64-bit (23H2)
- Microsoft .NET 7.0
- Rhinoceros 8, version 8SR12 (8.12.24282.7001, 8 October 2024)
- Memory: 8 GB or more
2.Download
Please check the system requirements, then download and install ThermalOne.
You will then need a licence key to activate ThermalOne.
Please first complete the ‘User Registration’, then obtain your licence key from the ‘Pricing & Plans’ section of your My Page. (The same applies to the free plan.)
For installation instructions, please refer to the README_EN.txt included in the downloaded ZIP. (Simply extract the ZIP and run install.bat to set up THERB UI, THERB Viewer and License Manager.)
If you encounter any problems during installation, see the “Troubleshooting” section of the README.
3.User Registration
On the ‘User Registration’ page, please review the ThermalOne Terms of Use and submit your application via the form. (You will be required to enter a verification code on the next page.)
A verification code will be sent to your registered email address; please enter this and register your additional profile details. This completes the ‘User Registration’ process.
4.Obtaining a Licence Key
A licence key is required to use ThermalOne.
Once ‘User Registration’ is complete, you will be able to log in to your My Page; please select your licence key from there. (The same applies to the free plan.)

5.Activate with the licence key
When you launch ThermalOne, a screen will appear prompting you to enter your licence key. Please enter the licence key you have obtained to activate the software. You can now use ThermalOne.
